計畫宗旨:為鼓勵優秀境外學生就讀本校,特訂定本獎助學金要點
🎓 學費優惠減免標準
📘 學士班 (Bachelor Program)
秋季班:於期限內備妥申請文件,享有當年度之兩學期學費 50% 減免
春季班:於期限內備妥申請文件,享有當學年度之一學期學費 50% 減免
前一學年度兩學期成績總平均達 70 分(含)以上、二分之一以上科目及格,且操行成績達 80 分以上,享有二年級學費 30% 減免。
*轉學編制入讀二年級者:不受上述成績限制,即享有兩學期減免(若於第二學期編制入讀,僅享一學期減免)。
前一學年度兩學期成績總平均達 70 分(含)以上、二分之一以上科目及格,且操行成績達 80 分(含)以上,享有三年級學費 20% 減免。
*轉學編制入讀三年級者:不受上述成績限制,即享有兩學期減免(若於第二學期編制入讀,僅享一學期減免)。
📙 碩士班 (Master's Program)
碩士班學費減免以一年為限:
秋季班:於申請期限內備妥申請文件,享有當學年度之兩學期學費 50% 減免
春季班:於申請期限內備妥申請文件,享有當學年度之一學期學費 50% 減免
*以上減免金額採百分比計算後,百位數以下無條件捨去。

申請者應於申請期限內,檢附下列文件提出申請:
- 1. 申請表
- 2. 已完成註冊及繳費之在學證明
- 3. 護照影本
- 4. 歷年成績單正本
- 5. 中或英文自傳(五百字以內)
- 6. 學習計畫
⚠️ 申請須知與重要規定
- 申請時間:依本校獎助學金作業時間辦理,逾期申請者不予受理。本要點適用於 112 學年度秋季班後入學之境外生。
- 繳費與核發:申請者需先於規定期間內繳交全額學雜費用,獎學金核發時間為當學期第十四週起。
- 資格限制:凡獲台灣政府補助之「教育部台灣獎學金」、「外交部台灣獎學金」、「國合會獎學金」及「僑委會獎學金」等其他全額獎學金者,不得申請本項學費優惠減免。
- 休退學規定:辦理休學及退學者,當學期不得享有學費優惠減免,已領取之優惠學費需依規定補繳或退還差額。復學後當學年不得享有減免資格;若因操行、成績不及格或刑事案件遭休學者,復學後亦不得享有本減免。
- 資格撤銷:經查若有資料偽造或違反校規之情況,撤銷其資格並追回已領取之獎助學金。

Eligibility: Overseas students of Shih Chien University
Amount: Up to 50% tuition waiver, subject to the tuition and fee standards of Shih Chien University
Purpose: These regulations and scholarship are established to recruit and encourage overseas students to study at Shih Chien University.
🎓 Tuition Waiver Criteria
📘 Bachelor Program
Fall Intake: Granted a 50% tuition waiver for the first two semesters of the academic year if applied by the deadline.
Spring Intake: Granted a 50% tuition waiver for one semester of the academic year if applied by the deadline.
Must achieve an Academic Grade Average of 70+, maintain Conduct Grades of 80+, and pass more than half of the total courses taken in the previous two semesters (1st and 2nd) to receive a 30% waiver for the second academic year.
*Transfer Students: Exempt from the above requirements for a 30% waiver for two semesters (or one semester if transferring into the second semester).
Must achieve an Academic Grade Average of 70+, maintain Conduct Grades of 80+, and pass more than half of the total courses taken in the previous two semesters (3rd and 4th) to receive a 20% waiver for the third academic year.
*Transfer Students: Exempt from the above requirements for a 20% waiver for two semesters (or one semester if transferring into the second semester).
📙 Master's Program
The tuition waiver is limited to the first academic year (1st and 2nd semesters) only:
Fall Intake: Granted a 50% tuition waiver for the first two semesters if applied by the deadline.
Spring Intake: Granted a 50% tuition waiver for the first semesters if applied by the deadline.
*All waiver amounts are calculated based on the percentage of tuition and rounded down to the nearest hundred.
📂 Required Documents
Applicants must submit the following documents to the office before the application deadline:
- 1. Application Form
- 2. Proof of Enrollment (with "Registered" and "Paid" status)
- 3. Photocopy of Passport
- 4. Full Official Academic Transcript
- 5. Autobiography in Chinese or English (within 500 words)
- 6. Study Plan
⚠️ Important Regulations
- Application Timeline: Processed according to the university's timeline. Late applications will not be accepted. This regulation applies to students admitted in or after the 2023-24 academic year.
- Payment & Disbursement: Applicants must pay full tuition and miscellaneous fees by the deadline. The scholarship will be awarded starting from the 14th week of the current semester.
- Ineligibility: Applicants awarded full scholarships from Taiwan government entities (e.g., MOE, MOFA, ICDF, OCAC) are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.
- Suspension/Expulsion: Students who suspend studies or are expelled follow normal tuition calculation rates. Any difference in tuition fees must be settled. Returning students after suspension are ineligible for the waiver for 1 academic year (2 semesters). Students suspended due to discipline, academic performance, or criminal violations will permanently lose their waiver eligibility upon return.
- Violation: Any fraud or violation of school regulations will lead to disqualification, and any received scholarships must be returned in full.
