台湾の大学に進学した理由
日本の大学受験に失敗した後、留学を考えました。地理的な近さと予算を考慮すると、台湾は最適な選択肢でした。台湾は日本から近く、生活費も比較的安く、英語を学ぶ環境も整っているため、留学先として決めました。
実践大学を選んだ理由
実践大学を選んだ最大の理由は、英語で授業を行う学科があることです。また、在籍している留学生が多く、国際交流が盛んなことも魅力でした。さらに、授業以外にも学校の活動が充実しており、台湾の文化を学ぶ機会がたくさんある点も魅力的でした。
台湾での生活の感想
台湾の生活習慣は日本と似ているため、日常生活で困ることはほとんどありません。しかし、テスト期間になると、慣れない言語で勉強するのはやはり大変です。それでも、台湾には美味しいローカルフードがたくさんあり、満足した留学生活を送ることができています。
台湾留学を考えている後輩への一言
日本にいる間にできること、例えば最低限の言語の勉強などはやっておいた方が良いと思います。ただし、最も大切なのは、まず挑戦してみることです。準備が万全でなくても、思い切って台湾に行ってみることで、多くのことを学び、成長することができると思います。たとえ失敗しても、それが成長につながるので、ぜひ積極的にチャレンジしてみてください。
この留学経験を通じて、異なる文化や学習環境に触れ、自立心が養われました。台湾に留学するという選択をして本当に良かったと思っていますし、この経験を将来のキャリアや人生に活かしていきたいと考えています。

我選擇實踐大學的主要原因是這裡有以英語授課的學科，讓我能夠在國際化的環境中學習。此外，學校內有許多來自不同國家的留學生，國際交流非常活躍，這讓我能夠更深入地了解各國文化。此外，學校提供豐富的課外活動，使我有更多機會體驗台灣的文化，增進對當地社會的理解。
在台灣的生活體驗
台灣的生活習慣與日本相似，因此日常生活上沒有太大的困難。不過，當考試期間需要使用不熟悉的語言學習時，確實會感到壓力與挑戰。儘管如此，台灣有許多美味的在地美食，這讓我的留學生活變得更加愉快與滿足。
給未來考慮來台留學的學弟妹們
在日本時可以先做好準備，例如至少掌握基本的語言能力，這樣來到台灣後會更容易適應。然而，更重要的是要勇於挑戰自己，即使還沒有完全準備好，也應該勇敢地邁出第一步。即使遇到失敗，也能從中獲得成長與寶貴的經驗。我相信，願意接受挑戰的人，將能夠在台灣獲得很大的成長與收穫。

Why I Chose to Study in Taiwan
After failing my university entrance exam in Japan, I started considering studying abroad. Given its geographical proximity and affordability, Taiwan was the best choice. Taiwan is close to Japan, has a relatively low cost of living, and provides a great environment for learning English, making it an ideal study destination for me.
Why I Chose Shih Chien University
One of the main reasons I chose Shih Chien University is that it offers programs taught in English. Additionally, there are many international students, making it an excellent place for international exchanges. Beyond academics, the university offers a variety of extracurricular activities, providing many opportunities to learn about Taiwanese culture.
My Experience Living in Taiwan
Since Taiwan’s lifestyle habits are similar to those in Japan, I don’t face many difficulties in daily life. However, during exam periods, studying in a language I am not fully familiar with can be challenging. Despite this, Taiwan has a great variety of delicious local food, which has made my study abroad experience even more enjoyable and fulfilling.
Advice for Future Students Considering Studying in Taiwan
If you are considering studying in Taiwan, I recommend preparing in advance, such as learning basic language skills before coming. However, the most important thing is to challenge yourself. Even if you are not fully prepared, taking the step to study abroad in Taiwan will help you grow tremendously. Failure is just part of the process, and each challenge will lead to personal development.
Through this experience, I have been able to immerse myself in a different culture and academic environment, which has helped me become more independent and mature. I am truly grateful for my decision to study in Taiwan, and I look forward to applying this experience in my future career and life.
