
Shih Chien University's "International Foundation Program (1+4 Program)" is a project promoted in coordination with the Ministry of Education of Taiwan, combining a "1-Year Mandarin Preparatory Program" and a "4-Year Official University Program." This program aims to cultivate overseas youth talents needed for six major industries: manufacturing, construction, agriculture, long-term care, services, and e-commerce.
For international students with no Chinese foundation, this is an excellent study-abroad stepping stone. "Absolutely no language proficiency certificate is required" upon application! After a year of intensive Mandarin training, you can directly enter our university's premium professional departments.

💸 Mandarin Preparatory Phase: Tuition-free for the first semester.
🏅 Language Certification Reward: Students who pass the TOCFL B1 level will receive an additional scholarship of NT$ 8,000.
🎓 Outstanding Academic Performance Scholarship (Undergraduate): After entering the university program, students who ranked in the top 20% of their class in the previous semester with a conduct score of 80 or above can enjoy tuition waivers:
Freshman: 50% tuition waiver
Sophomore: 30% tuition waiver
Junior: 20% tuition waiver

✅ Application Qualifications: Age 18 to 22 is preferred. Must have graduated from a high school, college, or university recognized by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan (no language proficiency certificate is required).
