🌍 International Degree Students
This category is for students holding a foreign passport (non-ROC) who apply according to the "Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan." You may apply for full-time Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree programs.
Application Timeline: Admissions are open for both Fall and Spring semesters.
Fall Intake: Generally from February to July.
Spring Intake: Generally from October to November.

🇨🇳 Degree Students from Mainland China
This category refers to students holding a PRC passport who apply through the unified channel of the "University Entrance Committee for Mainland Chinese Students" (LUELIAN). Applicants must meet specific household registration requirements; currently, applications are open to residents of Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong, Hubei, and Liaoning.
Application Timeline: Applications are handled exclusively by the LUELIAN committee. The application period typically falls between February and April each year.
🌏 Overseas Chinese, Hong Kong, and Macau Students
This category is for students with an Overseas Chinese, Hong Kong, or Macau background. You may apply via the unified distribution system of the "University Entrance Committee for Overseas Chinese Students" (UECOCS) or through USC’s Individual Enrollment channel for Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral programs.
Application Timeline: Primarily follows the UECOCS schedule, with applications usually open from February to April.
📘 International Foundation Program (Bachelor’s Degree)
This program is designed for international students holding a foreign passport who plan to pursue a Bachelor’s degree. It features a "bridging" year (1+4) to help students enhance their Chinese language proficiency and adapt to the learning environment before transitioning into their formal academic departments.
Application Timeline: * Fall Intake: Approximately February to July.
Spring Intake: Approximately October to November.
