1. 上述課程時間及參訪行程可能依實際情況及協辦單位略作調整，請隨時留意國際處及語言中心公告。
2. 本活動費用包含11/22、11/25、11/27午餐，其餘餐食皆由學生自理。
3. 當地交通: 活動費用僅包含團體行程之交通(如地鐵或遊覽車)，其餘時間交通由學生自理。
4. 本活動屬通識課程「全球文化與溝通」(外語學用與文化課程，2學分)內容之一，參加者除須全程參與海外移地教學，另須出席行前課程及期末報告，已通過並獲得同一堂課程者，無法再次取得學分。
5. 課程及格並符合本校學生赴境外研修獎勵辦法資格者，每人可補助新台幣35,000元，並須擔任全英授課種子助教或協助系所接待外賓和國際學生。

活動費用：新台幣135,000元/人(實際金額依機票開票費用及匯率為準)。

    þ含經濟艙來回機票、一件23公斤託運行李、海外課程、餐會(歡迎、交流、歡送)、住宿及旅行平安保險費用。

    x不含簽證/護照申請、餐食、交通及個人文化參訪費用。

報名資格：1. 具本校學籍之學位生(以三、四年級為優先)。

2. 繳交全額學雜費雙聯學位生。

          3. 成績規定: 上一學期成績平均及操行成績80分以上，英文能力須達TOEIC 550(含)以上或同等級別(尚無英文檢定證明者，大學英文必修課成績須達80分以上)。

報名方式：請填妥附件申請表，並附上應繳交之相關文件，連同活動費用(採現金或匯款轉帳方式)繳交至L棟5樓雙語計畫辦公室，始完成報名手續。

報名期限：即日起至10月17日(五)下午5點，10人成行，上限25人，額滿截止。

 

【課程及參訪資訊】

1. 本次交流活動2025實踐大學「全球文化與溝通」全英密集式海外移地教學課程：北愛爾蘭英國女王大學與英國牛津大學，結合專業課程、田野調查與跨文化交流，帶領學生深入英國與北愛爾蘭的學術與文化場域。課程安排於英國女王大學進行全英授課，包括創意設計、商務與管理、跨語言多模態溝通及文創思維等課程，並參訪當地文創產業機構，體驗北愛爾蘭與倫敦的歷史文化、建築設計與學術氛圍。學生最終以課程成果發表統整所學在「台灣日」活動中向英國女王大學師生展示台灣文化。此課程透過全英語沉浸式學習與跨文化體驗，幫助學生拓展國際視野，提升專業應用力、創新思維與跨文化溝通能力。
2. 請配合帶隊老師指示並保持團體行動，團進團出。
3. 課程為密集式全英語教學，參加者須全程參與海外移地教學活動及出席行前課程及期末報告。

【獎補助事項】

1. 本校「學生赴境外研修獎勵辦法」第三條規定：以具本校學籍之學位生(含繳交全額學雜費雙聯學位生)且其於提出申請及前往境外研修時，皆須具有本校學籍者，但不含休學生。
2. 參加本活動者須先繳交全額費用，完成課程規範(如出席全程移地教學、行前課程及期末報告)後，方由國際事務處協助辦理獎補助核發事宜。

【報名注意事項】

1. 本次屬於團進團出之移地教學活動，除文化探索外，其餘課程與參訪皆需全程參與，不可任意脫隊或無故缺席，也不可延後返台。
2. 一經報名確認，機位需立即開票並全額付款預訂飯店，若取消費用須依航空公司及飯店規定為準，其剩費用退費規定將依據交通部觀光署公告之【旅遊定型化契約書】辦理。

Program Fee: NT$135,000 / per person

(The actual amount will depend on airline ticket prices and exchange rates.)

Includes: round-trip economy-class airfare, one 23-kg checked baggage allowance, overseas course fees, accommodation, and travel insurance.

Excludes: visa and passport application fees, meals, local transportation, and personal cultural excursions.    

Eligibility:

1. Full-time students of Shih Chien University (priority to 3rd and 4th-year students)
2. Dual-degree students who pay full tuition and fees.
3. Academic Requirements:
   1. Previous semester GPA of 80 or above
   2. English proficiency: TOEIC 550+ (or equivalent); if unavailable, a score of 80+ in required English courses.

Registration Deadline: From now until October 17 (Fri), 2025, at 17:00.

Minimum of 10 participants required; maximum of 25 participants. Registration will close once full.

Registration Procedure:

Please complete the attached application form and submit all required documents along with the full payment (in cash or via bank transfer) to the Bilingual Program Office (L-Building, 5^th floor) to finalize your registration.

About this program

2025 Shih Chien University “Global Culture and Communication” Overseas Intensive English-Medium Overseas Immersive Program: Queen’s University Belfast and University of Oxford combines academic learning, field visits, and cross-cultural exchange, guiding students into the academic and cultural landscapes of the UK and Northern Ireland. The program features intensive English-medium courses at Queen’s University Belfast, including Creative Design, Business and Management, Multimodal Communication, and Cultural and Creative Thinking, along with visits to local cultural and creative industries.

Students will explore the historical heritage, architectural design, and academic atmosphere of Northern Ireland, Oxford, and London, linking classroom knowledge with real-world experiences. They will complete learning worksheets and group discussions, showcase Taiwanese culture to QUB faculty and students during the special “Taiwan Day,” and present their final project at the course conclusion. This immersive program provides students with valuable opportunities to broaden their global perspectives, enhance professional application skills, foster innovative thinking, and strengthen cross-cultural communication in an authentic international learning environment.

Important Notes

1. This program is organized as a group-based field study. Except for the cultural exploration activities, all courses and visits require full participation. Participants may not leave the group without permission, skip activities without valid reasons, or postpone their return to Taiwan.
2. Once registration is confirmed, flight tickets and hotel reservations will be issued and paid in full immediately. If a participant cancels after confirmation, cancellation policies will follow the airline and hotel regulations. Any remaining refund will be processed in accordance with the “Standard Form Contract for Overseas Travel” as announced by the Taiwan Tourism Administration.

Subsidy Information

1.  Subsidy and Added Opportunities: Students who successfully complete the program and meet the requirements of the University’s Overseas Study Subsidy Policy will receive a subsidy of NT$35,000 per person and will be expected to serve as a seed EMI teaching assistant or assist their department in hosting international visitors and students.
