外交部台歐連結獎學金MOFA Taiwan-Europe Connectivity Scholarship

為增進台灣與歐洲國家大學學術合作及交流,外交部設立「台歐連結獎學金」計畫,透過「校對校」方式補助及鼓勵歐洲學生來台交換及學習華語。

本計畫不限定受獎生來台進修身分(含學位生及非學位生)及科系,且不以學習華語為限,有助歐洲學生依原有興趣及專長來台求學及強化台歐雙邊關係。

一、申請資格:

本獎學金受獎人應同時符合下列條件:

(一)所屬學校為歐洲國家之學生。

(二)非我國籍或中國、香港、澳門地區人民。

(三)未具我國僑生身分。

(四)未同時受領我政府機關(構)或學校所設置之獎補助金。

(五)未曾受領本獎學金。

二、獎助項目:

(一)華語生受獎期間3個月,每月領取獎學金新台幣15,000元至25,000元。

(二)交換或學位生受獎期間4至5個月,每月領取獎學金新台幣15,000元至25,000元。

(三)部分參與本計畫之大學或因課程設計,或提供學費或住宿減免,爰各校獎學金金額有所差異。

三、其他說明:

申請時程及規定依各參與本計畫之各大學而定,一般為每年2月及5月開放申請,詳情請洽詢本校獎學金負責人王老師(ianwong@g2.usc.edu.tw)。

 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) has established the Taiwan-Europe Connectivity Scholarship to foster academic cooperation and exchange between Taiwanese and European Universities. The program sponsors and encourages European students to undertake exchanges and Mandarin studies in Taiwan through school-to-school cooperation. 

The scholarship is open to all European students wanting to study in Taiwan, including degree and non-degree programs, in Taiwan and is available for all majors and disciplines and not just for learning Mandarin. This program allows the recipients to further pursue their original fields of interest and expertise, while strengthening relations between Taiwan and Europe.

1.  Eligibility

An applicant must meet all of the following criteria:

1.1. Is a student currently studying at a European university.

1.2. Is not a citizen of the ROC (Taiwan), China, Hong Kong, or Macao.

1.3. Does not possess overseas Taiwanese compatriot status.

1.4. Will not be concurrently receiving financial support from another government agency or educational institution of Taiwan. 

1.5. Has not previously received a Taiwan-Europe Connectivity Scholarship.

2.  Scholarship types

2.1.  Mandarin programs: Monthly stipend of NT$15,000 to NT$25,000 for three months in total.

2.2.  Exchange and degree programs: Monthly stipend of NT$15,000 to NT$25,000 for four or five months in total.

2.3. Some participating universities may waive tuition and/or accommodation fees due to their curriculum design, resulting in differences in the actual stipend offered.

3.  Other information

Participating universities set their timetable and terms for applying to the Taiwan-Europe Connectivity Scholarship program. In general, the application period will be from February to May. For more details, please email Mr. Wong at ianwong@g2.usc.edu.tw.
