Dear Student,

On behalf of Shih Chien University (USC), I am writing to welcome you to join us for your undergraduate/graduate studies.

Since its inception in 1958, USC has developed to be a teaching-intensive institution. Currently, it consists of two campuses. The Taipei Campus has three colleges, including 17 bachelor's programs, 15 master's programs, and a doctoral program, with about 9,000 students. The Kaohsiung Campus has 16 bachelor's programs in two colleges, with about 5,000 students. To our great delight, we have seen an increasing number of international students enrolled in USC in recent years.

In addition to meeting all the standards for institutional accreditation, USC is one of the universities awarded for teaching excellence in Taiwan (2013-2018) and granted Higher Education Sprout Project by the Ministry of Education (2018-2022). During your study period with us, you will be exposed to a learning environment with abundant resources. Our 400 full-time faculty and 300 staff members will help you adjust to your new life here. Be sure to seize the opportunities to enrich and enjoy yourself while studying in Taiwan.
